OSTEOPENIA / OSTEOPOROSIS
For those of you who are dealing with a diagnosis of OSTEOPENIA/OSTEOPOROSIS, be aware that your POSTURE is a key aspect of forestalling the debilitating aspects of this disease.
Asanas most useful in forestalling this condition are WARRIOR POSE, FULL WHEEL (which I practice with a balance ball). You have heard your mother say many times "STAND UP STRAIGHT", which is good advice; however, we don't always practice it. A sunken chest pulls everything forward, curves your spine, and makes you sad! So, if you are not in an ongoing program of Yoga, sign up for a class today!
